Whistler Peak Elopement | Brit + Andrew | Paul Cameron Productions

Brit and Andrew had to make some quick decisions for their wedding day, but ended up having an absolutely perfect Whistler Peak Elopement. The couple travelled out from Ontario, and were originally planning to get married at the Sea to Sky Gondola in Squamish. They were excited to say their vows on top of a mountain, with stunning views, but about a week prior to their wedding, an unforeseeable event occurred. The cable on the Sea to Sky Gondola was cut, and the whole venue had to close temporarily. Andrew and Brit decided to move their elopement to Whistler Peak, and it ended up being the perfect fit for them. Andrew had grown up riding Whistler and it was one of his favourite places, and they were still able to get married on top of a mountain, with stunning views.

On the morning of their wedding day, Brit and Andrew got ready at a log cabin on the side of Whistler. They shared a private first look with each other, just outside the cabin. The couple them began their journey up the mountain, with a private gondola ride, and then chairlift ride, to arrive at the peak of Whistler Mountain. They stood on the ridge and exchanged personalized vows, with stunning mountain views behind them. Their immediate family had travelled up the mountain with them, and witnessed their marriage with cheers.

After the ceremony, Brit and Andrew separated from their guests and did an adventure photoshoot on the mountain. We spent a few hours walking along Pika’s Traverse, stopping at unique locations to capture some absolutely stunning, original shots of the couple. It was a perfect day, with clear skies, and amazing views of all the mountains surrounding them. We made it back to the gondola just in time, to catch a ride back into the village as the sun was setting.
